This was a very enjoyable read. Both Trip and Meg were great characters with lots of chemistry between them. I liked the fact that there was a little lesson about "judging a book". Meg's brother was the typical bad boy MC member so she assumed Trip would be the same since he too was a MC member. Luckily she was wrong.*I received an Advance Reader's Copy of this book as well as purchasing a copy which I am voluntarily reviewing*
Trip was the president of the Avenging Angels MC , all the members were ex military and their goal was to keep their territory free of drugs and guns nothing illegal. They help women who had abusive spouses or boyfriends. When the women made the choice to finally divorce or leave the abuse , one of the men would go to the courthouse to protect them . Megan was a school counselor and tried to show the kids there was other things in life than the MC that ran their town . The problem was that her brother Cutter was president of the Satan's Souls MC and bitter rivals of Trips MC . Cutter got into trouble with the cartel and made a deal with Trip to take care of Megan so the cartel couldn't get to her . It ended up that Trip and Megan fell for each other , then Cutter and Trip made a pact and Cutter quit the drugs and guns and they joined the two clubs to do good things in their towns. This is a fantastic book and I couldn't put it down until I finished it.
I really enjoyed this book. The characters are interesting, well-developed and have chemistry. The story is interesting, well-written with a happily ever after. In addition to receiving an arc, I purchased the book for my collection.
Megan is a high school counselor who works hard to keep kids out of trouble. Her brother, Cutter, is president of the local MC and they deal in drugs and guns and abuse women. Megan wants nothing to do with him or his MC and is convinced that all MCs are bad news. Her brother has a rival MC in another town that is always causing him trouble. He complains to Megan about they and their president, Trip. When Cutter gets in trouble with the cartel, he asks Trip to keep his sister out of the area and safe.She hates the idea and is bratty to Trip. She slowly learns that his MC is different. The ex-military members protect women fleeing abusive men and keep drugs and guns out of their town. She starts to fall for him and he starts to fall for her, but she is still his rival's sister. And Cutter's MC is bad and tied up with the cartel. He needs to keep her safe but he also has to keep his distance to avoid a broken heart.The premise was good but I had a hard time figuring out how the cartel figured out who she was when she had nothing to do with his MC and the members didn't know her. It seemed they were able to conveniently find her.There was an interesting connection between Trip and Megan and they were able to strive for an HEA. There was also some good heat.I voluntarily reviewed and Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This is a great MC story about Trip, the president and his brothers are ex-military. They run a clean MC , no drugs, guns or trading women keeping their town safe! There is a rival MC that is runned by Cutter and they do all types of illegal activities they can without a care for anyone. Trip and his MC visit Cutter’s local bar and a fight breaks out and Meg gets Trip with a bottle and once their eyes meet something happens in each of them and it’s over before it begins. Cutter is having issues with the Cartel due to a misunderstanding and he gets Trip to take his sister, Megan in exchange for no club business into Trip’s town. Trip and Meg meet under tough circumstances and Meg is one strong woman who lets you know what she thinks. I loved that they each contribute to their communities helping those who need it. Trip knows he can not do anything with Meg but their chemistry draws them together until Trip decides to push Meg away to keep her safe. Meg does what she wants and ends up in danger causing herself pain and possibly death as the Cartel comes after Cutter and his MC. Hopefully Trip can find Meg and admit his true feelings for her before it’s too late! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This is an action packed suspense filled MC romance story.When military vet came back from his last tour of duty he felt the need to find some where he could feel like home .He started Avenging Angels MC for fellow vets that wanted to belong somewhere and help others.His MC is a group of vets that protect their town ,no drug dealing or gun running allowed.They escort battered women to court and protect them from abusive spouses. When rumors of the outlaw mc Satan's Souls are trying to get together with the Mexican cartel.They are trying to branch out.The Avenging Angels are all vets that have a ode they live by one you don't hurt woman or children.When they ride to Barstow to ch ed co the situation out they stop for a beer at a Irish bar.The Cutter the president of Satan Souls and Trip the president of the Avenging Angels MC don t like each other.They end up fighting when he has Cutter on the ground he gets hit on the back of the head by a beer bottle.He spins to hit the person responsible but it's a woman and he will never hit a woman.When Cutter says that the cartel want his sister is in danger that if he keeps her safe the Satan Souls won't bring drugs or guns into Trips town.Trip agreed he expected his sister to be an ugly Cutter look a like but she was the beauty that hit him,on the head with the beer bottle the one he hasn't been able to stop thinking about,she firey,beautiful and can give Trip a run for his money.Can the two that start out fighting like cats and dogs fall in love?There are so many twists and turns to this story will keep you riveted until the very last page and leave you begging for more.I love the way this amazing author brings the characters to life before your eyes and you can feel their emotions and their pain.I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talented author.I voluntarily decided to review this advanced reader copy because I know it's so worth reading.
